The tracklist for K/DA’s upcoming EP album has officially been revealed and along with song names, fans can scope out the artists that K/DA is collaborating with. Out of all the artists mentioned in the EP’s tracklist, one inclusion really stood out to us.
According to the tracklist, K/DA will feature TWICE on their song I’ll Show You which – to be perfectly honest – is a huge “W” for K/DA given TWICE’s international popularity.
League of Legends K-Pop Group K/DA Collabs With TWICE
K/DA first captured the world’s attention in 2018 with the song POP/STARS. The song turned a lot of League of Legends players into K-pop fans, and a lot of K-pop fans into League of Legends fans.
Given the success of POP/STARS, Riot Games has decided to give K/DA not only another single, but an EP as well. The newest single, The Baddest, dropped on August 27.
The full EP with The Baddest and four additional songs is scheduled to release on November 6. The tracklist for K/DA’s upcoming EP is as follows:
- The Baddest – ft. Soyeon and Miyeon of (G)I-dle, Bea Miller, and Wolftyla
- More – ft. Madison Beer, Soyeon and Miyeon of (G)I-dle, Lexie Liu, Jaira Burns, and Seraphine
- Villain – ft. Madison Beer and Kim Petras
- I’ll Show You – ft. TWICE, Bekuh Boom, and Annika Wells
- Drum Go Dum – ft. Aluna, Wolftyla, and Bekuh Boom
The original K/DA lineup from POP/STARS was comprised of Soyeon and Miyeon of (G)I-dle, Madison Beer, and Jaira Burns. In the video, Miyeon voiced Ahri, Soyeon voiced Akali, Madison Beer voiced Evelynn, and Jaira Burns voiced Kai’Sa.
Their follow-up single The Baddest likewise features Soyeon and Miyeon of (G)I-dle as Ahri and Akali, but adds Bea Miller as Evelynn and Wolftyla as Kai’Sa.
If you missed them on The Baddest, you’ll be happy to hear that Madison Beer and Jaira Burns return to K/DA with both artists featured on the track More. Madison Beer is also credited as part of the song Villain.
Interestingly enough, we see Seraphine credited on the song More as well. Seraphine, the Starry-Eyed Songstress, is the newest Legend in League of Legends and is described as a premier idol with magical auditory synesthesia.
Seraphine has her own Twitter account where she recently posted her own song called “made me this way” featuring Jasmine Clarke, absofacto, and kosukekasza.
After hearing the song, we can’t help but be curious in regards to how Seraphine will be incorporated into K/DA’s track More. Sadly, we have no choice but to wait until November 6 to find out.
The lineup of artists on K/DA’s EP is exciting in and of itself. Of course, the inclusion of one of the most popular k-pop groups in existence right now is also something for K/DA fans to take note of.
Whether you enjoy TWICE’s music or not, there’s no denying how incredibly successful they are both in South Korea and internationally. If you thought K/DA’s 381 million views on POP/STARS is impressive, you may (or may not) be surprised to hear that TWICE has also pulled in big numbers with over 574 million views for their song TT.
Other songs like Cheer Up have 410 million views, Likey has 478 million views, What is Love? has 434 million views, and so on and so forth. As we said, TWICE is astronomically popular.
We have no doubt that the song TWICE is featured on, I’ll Show You, will garner quite a bit of attention once the EP is released. Fans of K-pop groups are incredibly loyal, for example, many (G)I-dle fans were eager to support Soyeon and Miyeon in K/DA’s POP/STARS and The Baddest.
It stands to reason TWICE fans will come over and support the song the group appears in. It’s not just one or two members of TWICE in the song either, apparently all nine members will be part of the song. That’s right, all nine members of TWICE are featured in the song I’ll Show You.
If you’re unfamiliar with the group, TWICE members include Momo, Jihyo, Tzuyu, Mina, Sana, Dahyun, Nayeon, Chaeyoung, and Jeongyeon. We have no idea how many lines each individual member will get given the fact that there are other artists included in the song as well (Bekuh Boom and Annika Wells), but we imagine things will be as fair and balanced as possible. At least, we hope so.
Again, we have to wait until November 6 for the EP to release to hear how the collaborating artists are brought into each K/DA track. Until then, we’ll keep replaying POP/STARS and The Baddest… and (G)I-dle’s DUMDi DUMBdi, and TWICE’s More & More.
We’ll also be diving deeper into the music of artists Bea Miller, Wolftyla, Madison Beer, Lexie Liu, Jaira Burns, Aluna, Kim Petras, Bekuh Boom, and Annika Wells.
