Animal Crossing: New Horizons New September Fish

It’s a new month, and a new season! Well, maybe not in real life but in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, seasons actually change when they’re supposed to. What that means is that a whole bunch of changes have come to your island’s wildlife options. Bugs and fish change every month, sometimes significantly. The bigger changes come in October, but whether you’re playing on the Northern Hemisphere or Southern Hemisphere, there are new fish to catch.

New September Fish in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

There are four lists in total in this guide. First, the new fish for September for Northern Hemisphere players, and then the fish that will leave at the end of the month. If you’re playing on the Southern Hemisphere, just scroll down a little more for the parallel lists.

New for September (Northern Hemisphere)

• Pike – 1,800 Bells –  River – all day
• Cherry salmon – 1,000 Bells River (Clifftop), Pond – 4pm to 9am
• Char – 3,800 Bells – River (Clifftop), Pond – 4pm to 9am
• Golden trout – 15,000 Bells – River (Clifftop) – 4pm to 9am
• Salmon – 700 Bells – River (Mouth) – all day
• King salmon – 1,800 Bells – all day
• Mitten crab – 2,000 Bells – River – 4pm to 9am
• Sturgeon – 10,000 Bells – River (Mouth) – all day

That’s it! Obviously the biggest changes will come to the Northern Hemisphere once the Fall season really gets established. So if you’re playing there you’re gonna need to make sure you have all your sharks and whatnot.
