Every Exotic Weapon Getting Vaulted in Destiny 2: Beyond Light

There is a handful of Destiny 2 content going into the vault with the Beyond Light expansion. Here are the exotic weapons that could be leaving.

As Destiny 2 continues to expand and grow, Bungie is being forced to remove some content from the game to make more room for new stuff. Luckily, everything that is being removed will simply go into the Content Vault, in case developers want to bring it back at some point and won’t be lost forever.

In this guide, we are going to take a look at every exotic weapon that will be going into the Content Vault when the Destiny 2: Beyond Light expansion releases this September.

What Weapons Are Leaving the Game in Destiny 2: Beyond Light

At the time of writing, it’s a bit tricky to say for sure which weapons are leaving the game, as we simply don’t have a full list yet. However, we do know some of the exotic weapons will be going into the vault with Beyond Light, but it also seems likely that some will be reworked into the new loot pool.

There are four locations and a ship that are headed to the Content Vault, Titan, Io, Mars, Mercury, and Leviathan, so any exotic weapon tied to a quest or Raid at those places are fair game for removal.

In the list below, you’ll find our best guess at which exotic weapons will be vaulted with Beyond Light. It’s worth noting though that this is not an official, confirmed list and Bungie could change up how the vaulting process works closer to launch.

  • Anarchy
  • Bad Juju
  • Izanagi’s Burden
  • Legend of Acrius
  • Lumina
  • Outbreak Perfected
  • Polaris Lance
  • Sleeper Simulant
  • Tarrabah
  • Thorn
  • Truth
  • Whisper of the Worm
  • Wonderline Zero

As we mentioned above, it’s possible that some of these weapons will be reassigned to the loot pool, available for purchase, or given as a reward after the Beyond Light expansion goes live. However, we can’t say for sure that will happen and in all likelihood, some of these weapons could be gone forever, or at least a very long time.

So if there is something that you’re interested in, be sure to get it now before it’s gone!

The Destiny 2 Beyond Light expansion is the first of three upcoming expansions revealed by Bungie that will carry the game into 2022. While this does mean that there won’t be a Destiny 3 in the near future, there will still be plenty of content to keep you busy, as each expansion will have seasons and updates between them for players to grind through.

If you haven’t checked out the Season of Arrivals yet, a lot has changed and you might be a little confused when you hop in. If so, be sure to check out some of the guides on our website to get caught up. In the links below, you’ll find some of our recent coverage.
