Guardians will first need to get the base version of the Witherhoard exotic grenade launcher. There are two ways that players can obtain this particular weapon. Those who purchase the Season of Arrivals Season Pass will automatically unlock the exotic grenade launcher. Players who do not buy the full version of the Season of Arrivals Season Pass will get this weapon when they reach tier 35.

Once you have obtained the Witherhoard exotic grenade launcher through one of the two ways above, head over to Banshee-44 in the Tower, speak with Banshee-44 to get The Bank Job quest. This is the quest that will reward you with the Catalyst for this season’s exotic grenade launcher.

The Bank Job quest will then task you to acquire vault keys by defeating combatants with Kinetic or Special Grenade Launchers. Rapidly defeating enemies will give Guardians a higher chance of getting Vault Keys. You will need to obtain a total of 50 keys to complete The Bank Job Heist and ultimately earn the Witherhoard Catalyst.
