Plenty of excitement is currently circulating in the Destiny 2 community with a massive roadmap for the future of the first-person shooter MMO being revealed on Tuesday, June 9th. One of the most significant pieces of content that were revealed for the future of the title was the official reveal of Ligthfall expansion. Fortunately, we have the release date window for the highly anticipated Lightfall expansion covered for you.

Destiny 2 Lightfall Release Date

Guardians will find that the release date window for Ligthfall expansion is the year of 2022. Unfortunately, Bungie did not provide any additional details regarding the release date window for the Lightfall expansion besides the year that it is currently scheduled to arrive in which will be 2022. Bungie will likely reveal the season of the year in which players can expect to see the arrival of this upcoming expansion take place. 

Now, Lightfall is the working title for this particular expansion, which means that it could possibly be changed to a new name when it is officially released in 2022.

There is no doubt that plenty of players are excited to learn more about the release date window for The Queen Expansion and when they will be able to experience everything it has to offer. It will likely focus on a new threat, so Guardians will need to be ready for what is expected to be one of the fiercest battles that the community has ever faced.
