Animal Crossing: New Horizons Saw Shark: How to Catch

If you plan to catch a Saw Shark in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ll need dust off your best fishing pole, grab plenty of bait, and head to your favorite fishing spot. The Saw Shark can be caught in the Northern Hemisphere from 4 PM – 9 PM in the months of June, July, August, and September. Alternatively, it can be caught in the Southern Hemisphere during the same time in the months of December, January, February, and March.

It’s important to note here that you must go fishing during the designated times mentioned above if you want to have any hope of catching the Saw Shark. If you fish outside of these hours, you won’t catch the shark. Luckily, the Saw Shark isn’t super rare, so it shouldn’t be as hard to catch as some of the other fish in the game.

Once you’ve caught the New Horizons Saw Shark, you can donate it to the museum or sell it for 12,000 Bells, which isn’t too shabby for a day’s work. There are a total of four sharks that can be caught in New Horizons, so if you want more details on catching sharks specifically, be sure to check out our guide on how to catch a shark.
