Players in the Southern Hemisphere will have to wait till November to have the ability to find this kind of critter on the ground and will be able to do so until April. 

This creature will spawn on your island between the hours of 7 PM and 4 AM, which means players who are wanting to encounter and catch a scorpion will need to set aside some dedicated time during this period if they want to have a chance of getting this critter.

The scorpion is one of the most valuable creatures in the world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as those who acquire one can sell it for a total of 8,000 Bells and improve their financial situation by a great deal.
