Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Rust – What We Know So Far

It is looking as though the fan-favorite map of Rust will be coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Rust is one of the most popular maps in the history of the Call of Duty franchise, as fans love the adrenaline-fueled action that the Modern Warfare 2 map provides to those who do battle on it. This love of Rust is why there is plenty of excitement is currently circulating in the first-person shooter’s community, as it has been teased that it will be returning in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in 2020. Fortunately, we have everything currently known about the return of Rust to the latest entry in the popular series covered for you.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Rust

Season 2 of the title is set to begin on February 11th. This upcoming start date for Season 2 has led to a variety of teasers to start rearing their head with one of the latest being spotted by Charlie Intel. This particular teaser was shown on an augmented reality card and revealed a video teaser for a new version of the Rust map that will be arriving in Season 2.

Infinity Ward has already added a plethora of other fan-favorite maps from the franchise’s past to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that includes Crash, Vacant, and Shipment. The additions of these past maps are why it would not be surprising to see Rust make a return to the current generation and once again provide plenty of action and fun for the community in Season 2. It remains to be seen if this map will be added right at the beginning of Season 2 or if it will be added at a later date in the new period of content.
