Players in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare takes to the virtual battlefields in the role of Operators. Now, these Operators do not offer any gameplay advantages as they have in past games in the franchise. However, they do provide different cosmetic looks for players to use, and all have their backstories. One of these Operators is known as Mara, who was introduced in the title at the beginning of Season 1 as an unlockable character in the game’s Battle Pass. This particular Operator was a Venezuelan national who was turned into a CIA asset at the age of 15. Mara provided intel to the United States to help launch in-country covert operations against various against AQ sleeper cells. She then went on to volunteer for SOF training in the United States, where she was then assigned to conduct clandestine operations for the CIA. These clandestine CIA operations ended for Mara when she was invited to WARCOM in the year 2017.
Players can only play as this Modern Warfare character when they are on the Coalition Faction in the latest entry in the legendary first-person shooter franchise. There is no doubt that she has been one of the most popular Operators to use in the popular game since her release.
