Here’s how to unlock the Oblivion and Oathkeeper Keyblades in the Kingdom Hearts 3: ReMIND DLC

Hope you’re ready to get your puzzle on (sort of) because that’s what’s going to be needed to get the two newest KH3 Keyblades. While new to the third games, the Oblivion and Oathkeeper aren’t new to the franchise as a whole, which makes the addition of these two Keyblades even more exciting for veterans of the Square Enix franchise.

Let’s start with the Oathkeeper Keyblade, shall we? In order to get started with this, you’re going to need to collect all of the 90 Lucky Emblems in the game (you can find guides to all of the locations right here in our dedicated game hub). Once all 99 are found, a Proof of Promises item will appear in your inventory. Take this item to the Moogle Shop and trade it in for the Oathkeeper Keyblade.

  • Strength – 12
  • Magic – 12

That one wasn’t so hard! Now onto the Oblivion Keyblade! While the Oathkeeper sounds simple, finding all of those Emblems across each planet can be a little tricky, so Oblivion should be a little less ‘hunt-y’ than Oathkeeper, though it will offer up a new challenge for players as a whole. In order to get the Oblivion trade-in goodness, you’re going to have to beat Kingdom Hearts 3 on the Critical Difficulty mode. That being said, despite its daunting name it’s not terribly difficult to many’s dismay, but it will alter the way you have to approach the game and combat.

Once completed on this particular mode, you’ll get a Profe of Times Past item that you’ll then take to the Moogle shop and trade in just like you did for Oblivion:

  • Strength – 8
  • Magic – 7

And there you have it! That’s how you can unlock the Oblivion and Oathkeeper Keyblades in the Kingdom Hearts 3: ReMIND DLC! Happy hunting!
