We knew that the Super Nintendo World coming soon was going to be cool but we didn't realise it would be THIS cool!
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

When we first learned of the Super Nintendo World coming to Universal Studios in Japan, immediately our inner-children squealed with delight. While not a lot of information was given out during the initial reveal, a new video highlights what Nintendo fans can expect throughout this interactive experience and it … is … glorious.

“Think of Super Nintendo World as a life-size, living video game where you could become one of the characters,” said Theirry Coup, Universal Creative’s CCO, in a recent interview with GameIndustry.biz. “You’re not just playing the game; you’re living the game, you’re living the adventure. Nintendo’s most iconic locations and experiences will be brought to life, including Mushroom Kingdom, Peach’s Castle, an incredible Mario Kart ride, Bowser’s Castle – and more.”

The theme park is set to debut in Osaka, Japan this Summer and will be filled to the brim with interactive choices. As reported by GI, attendees will be given a wrist band that will interact with a phone app that will allow park-goers access to tons of interactive aspects of the park including coin collection and character stamps. Oh, and “boss battles.” Yeah.

The Super Mario World looks absolutely incredible and fans of the Big N will be able to feast their eyes and their hearts on the newest adventure at the Osaka Universal Studios location. Not willing to make it out to Japan? No worries! United States and Singapore locations are also slated for a launch at later date.
