Fortunately, we have everything you need to know regarding the choice to take the coin or not covered.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Take the Coin

The choice of whether or no to take the coin is presented to players when they complete the third main quest in the high-profile game called The Beast of White Orchard. Players take on the role of Geralt of Rivia, who is accompanied by Vesemir to rid the village of White Orchard from a Griffin to learn more information regarding where they can find Yennefer.

Once you have defeated the Griffin, you will then be given the option to take the coin reward of 150 coins and 240-300 experience points. However, you can also choose not to take the coin reward and get a bonus of 400-500 experience points. The only significant difference and affect on how the story of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will play out when you make a choice here is only the amount of experience you get and currency. It never hurts to have as much money as possible in Wild Hunt, so we recommend players choose the coin and fatten the wallet of Geralt.
