New Kingdom Hearts III ReMIND DLC Details Revealed

Fast Pass and Black Code are two new ways Kingdom Hearts III players can enjoy the game when the new DLC comes out.

This past week the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World of Tres concert delighted fans with some new information on the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III DLC, ReMIND. Of the things the concert revealed is the option for new difficulties that are a bit more impactful with the addition of the new Black Code and Fast Pass options.

Twitter user ‘me_liflous3‘ took to the social media platform to talk about how Black Code and Fast Pass will affect the play experience citing that Fast Pass will make the game much easier for the more casual – or younger – players, while the Black Code aims to make it so much more challenging.

As for how the game can be made easier, she mentioned that players will have the ability to stack a variety of spells at the same time while also providing an ability to “one shot, one kill” enemies. The purpose of Fast Pass is to make it a Story Mode in its entirety, which is great for those that want to run through a second time or just want a more casual experience when enjoying the narrative.

According to the Twitter user, Black Code will offer a way for players who opt into the Black Code experience to choose their own HP, taking the Critical Mode to new heights with the option of choosing just 1 HP. Given that the difficulty of the game – or the lack thereof – seemed to be a point of contention for a lot of players, the newest additions should provide a means to enjoy a challenge without making that the only way to play.

As for when the new DLC arrives, we don’t have an exact date yet only that it is slated for a Winter release sometime soon. For Kingdom Hearts III, that adventure is available now to play on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
