If you’re trying to get in on that Destiny action, you might be running into a few issues. Bungie has just taken to Twitter to share with fans that they are aware of Destiny 2 being down and that they are actively working on a fix.
We are continuing to investigate issues preventing Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 players from signing in. Please standby for updates. https://t.co/vnO9hvI9BK

While we don’t have an update as to when the fix will go live, at least we know that the studio is working on it and will provide an update shortly. Players are reporting a variety of issues including the ability to boot up the game, the ability to stay within a game, and more. Being a major issue, it’s safe to say that Bungie is all hands on deck and we will update this article with any news on the server status.
Of course the server downage means player feedback, frustration, and – of course – memes:

Lol, literally just bought an Xbox and destiny 2- waited overnight for an installation, only to wake up to find that the servers are down-
What is my luck? Lol
(I’m willing to wait patiently for the issues to be resolved, but my lack of luck makes this purely comical to me
