If you’ve been knee-deep in hunting down The Vex in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, then you’ll be no stranger to the different methods available to deal with these intruders, especially now that the Vex Offensive mode is active. Looking for something to bring the pain? Look no further than the new Exotic weapon, Divinity. Check out our Divine Fragmentation Destiny 2 guide to figure out the requirements of this quest chain so that you can net this trace rifle.
Divine Fragmentation Destiny 2 Guide: Picking up Divine Fragmentation
If you’re after the Exotic trace rifle, Divinity, then the only way that you can get it is by completing the Divine Fragmentation quest. Predictably, it involves gunning through a ton of Vex and ending up in the new Garden of Salvation raid. To pick up Divine Fragmentation, you have to make your way to the Lunar Battlegrounds which are by Sorrow’s Harbor.
Keep your eyes peeled for a red-colored bridge that will stand out, then drop off where you are on the southern edge of the Harbor into an empty tunnel. Keep pathing forward and you’ll eventually come across a Vex gate, which is your first sign that things are dreadfully wrong. You’ll have to put down a ton of Vex, which will result in picking up an engram and a Vex disc to kick things off.
Divine Fragmentation Destiny 2 Guide: Divine Fragmentation Quest Steps
Once you’ve killed the Vex in the Lunar Battlegrounds, you’re going to have to complete the following steps:
- Analyze three Vex data cores on Nessus
- Kill Vex on the moon or in the Black Gardens until you’ve looted 120 data cores (the Vex Offensive mode should be helpful here)
- Ensure that you complete the Garden of Salvation raid and get tethers to spawn with your team to complete some complex puzzles
Once you’ve completed all of the above steps in our Divine Fragmentation Destiny 2 guide, you should be well and able to complete the quest which will result in acquiring the Exotic trace rifle that you’ve put in all this hard work for.
