Announced as the kickoff announcement during today’s PlayStation State of Play broadcast, the debut trailer for Humanity showed swarms of people running through trippy obstacle courses, falling off cliffs, and using buttons to jump over chasms.

In a few scenes, a different colored swarm of humans provided some resistance with weapons, implying that combat will be part of the Humanity experience. One particular scene showed one set of humans jumping over a wall, only for the enemy swarm to pick them off with lasers. The game has a Lemmings sort of feel to it, giving us fond memories of those green-haired little guys.

Humanity is slated for a 2020 release, but no more specific timeframe was given. We’ll have more on Humanity and from today’s State of Play broadcast as it develops.
