Ever wonder what FL4K looks like without their coat in Borderlands 3? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with recently revealed concept art that reveals what could have been.
As noted in our review, there’s a lot of reasons to love Borderlands 3 – even if there were a few hit and misses – but one aspect that many loved was that of FL4K. The man behind the character, Max Davenport, recently revealed an inside look at what this character could have looked like if they had decided to go with some of the earlier designs.

Despite their clunkier clothing choices, FL4K is actually a lot … smaller(?) than we were expecting. Not in a negative way, just different than what the mind’s eye came up with during a runthrough. The Beastmaster is certainly a favorite when it comes to Vault Hunter choices, especially given their healing aspect thanks to the beasts themselves.
As for the game itself, Borderlands 3 is now avaialble on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC! For more about our thoughts on the latest Gearbox adveture, check out a small blurb from our review below:
“There’s an overwhelming melange of things to do in Borderlands 3, so much so that things get downright frenetic at times. It’s in those chaotic moments that Gearbox has truly created a product that thrives. When you’re downed and the only way to advance is to go right through your enemies as your screen fades to read and your controller is shaking almost painfully in your hands. When you’re holding down a position from hordes of screaming Psychos with your friends and trying frantically to gain any sort of ground. When you’re exploring the Mad Max overworld in whatever Catch-A-Ride pumpkin carriage you’ve unlocked after skewering twenty bandits in the head. Borderlands 3 shines when it’s doused liberally in blood, guts, and glory, but what do you do in the moments in-between? Quite frankly, you’re not given much of a reason to remember.”
