The Gears of War franchise has always had a plethora of memorable characters for players to use in its various multiplayer game modes. However, Gears 5 has decided not to hold anything back and has brought a whole range of characters from other franchises over to allow players to secure executions within Gears 5. One of these character groups consists of Two Spartans from the fan-favorite game of Halo: Reach. It seems strange that Microsoft’s two most prominent video game franchises have never crossed over with each other until now. Fortunately, entry 5 will allow players to jump into battle as two Spartan characters from Halo: Reach.
How to Get Gears 5 Halo: Reach Characters
The two Spartans who players can play as are Emile-A239 and Kat-B320. Fans of Halo: Reach will remember these two characters as members of Noble Team who fought bravely in the prequel title. Now, Emile-A239 and Kat-B320 will be doing battle against the Locust, Swarm, and COG instead of the Covenant.
For players to gain access to these two playable Halo: Reach Spartans they must either own the Gears 5 Ultimate Edition or be subscribed to the Ultimate Edition of the Xbox Game Pass. If you do not meet one of these requirements, you will not be able to play as Emile-A239 or Kat-B320 in the game’s multiplayer game modes.
In addition to getting to play as two Halo: Reach characters in Gears 5, players will also be treated to a Noble Team Mark, Noble Team Bloodspray, Noble Team Banner, and a Noble Team Weapon Set.
