Even Horror Legend John Carpenter Is In On the Borderlands 3 Hype

There’s a lot of hype surrounding Borderlands 3. From returning characters like our beloved Maya and Zero, to brand new faces to fall in love with (or hate immensely), there’s a lot to be excited for. Many have weighed in when it comes to their thoughts on the upcoming cell-shaded adventure, including the legendary horror icon John Carpenter.

The filmaker/composer took to his Twitter account to reveal his thoughts on the latest gameplay reveal for the upcoming Pandora adventure and it’s easy to tell that he’s as excited as the rest of us: 

Members of the team were quick to respond with their appreciation, including the new voice of Claptrap:

Carpenter, though mostly known for his compositions and detailed eye for horror, also has a huge passion for gaming. Though mostly a penchant for the retro scene, he’s also weighed in on other big games in the past, including the controversial Fallout 76. 

Borderlands 3’s release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 13th.
