Where to Find the Max Curse Ascendant Challenge

When the curse in the Dreaming City is at its strongest, players can acquire this particular Ascendant Challenge from Petra Venj. Players can then make their way over to the Harbinger’s Seclude, which is located within Rheasilvia.

To make your way to the Ascendant Challenge portal, start out at the Divalian Mists and then make your way directly towards Rheasilvia. The main path here should lead you between the doorway that leads to the Blind Well and another doorway covered in blue crystal, which leads to the Spine of Keres.

Once you enter the Rheasilvia, turn to your right and make your way across the bridge. From here, turn to the left and head to the large building at the edge of the area. Move inside the building and then make your way through the various halls until you reach a large underground cavern until you reach a new area with a few different buildings. Move across the cavern and into a second room.

Head up the winding staircase that runs along the side and you should see a balcony across the room. Head out onto the balcony and you should see a large statue. Look about the statue and you should see the portal that leads to the Ascendant Plane.

How to Complete Max Curse Ascendant Challenge

The goal in this particular challenge is to clear out all of the enemies in the area then make use of the sword that unlocks to kill the three Knights situated in the area. Once that is done, you’ll need to carry the sword over to the exit platform to make your way out of the challenge.

Keep in mind that picking up the sword will cause one of the Knights to rise, as well as other enemies to spawn in. You’ll also only be able to damage the Knights using the sword, so make sure you hold onto it when fighting them. Of course, you also need to manage the other enemies around you, otherwise you’ll become overwhelmed.

To make the challenge easier, bring along some friends and have one enemy clear out the adds. Meanwhile, the other can grab the sword and start making their way across the platforms once everything is clear. Take out the Knights, then approach the center pedestal to spawn the exit portal. From here, carry the sword to the exit portal and the chest will spawn. Keep in mind that dying with the sword, or leaving it behind will cause the chest to remain unspawned.
