While there are several different ways you can make the Mouth-watering Dip a la Cube, to increase your odds of getting Staryu, you want to use the most basic version of the recipe. You can potentially get a Staryu with all three versions, but your best odds are with the basic ingredients.

- Basic: Bluk Berry (3), Tiny Mushroom (2)
- Good: Bluk Berry (2), Big Root (2)
- Very Good: Bluk Berry (2), Honey (2), Icy Rock (1)
How to Get Starmie

- Catch a Staryu
- Get the Staryu to level 36
As you might expect, the best way to get a Starmie is to make the Mouth-watering Dip a la Cube so you can catch a Staryu. Once you have a Staryu, place it in your party and get it up to level 36.
