Best Skills to Use for Each Character in Morbid Metal

Flux

Blink Strike is the best, but not so far off from Back Stab. Blink Strike just helps you get more damage in a longer fight, is good for mobility because of its shorter cooldown, and allows for more synergies.

Back Stab does offer way more damage for bursts, which is good for tankier foes like bruisers or bosses. A Routine that lets you critically hit an enemy with full HP is utilized more by Back Stab because of its higher damage output, higher damage means a way higher crit.

Both are good in different ways, but Blink Strike just offers more flexibility, especially when you want to deal with airborne targets first during an encounter.

For the second protocol, Nano Strike wins by far. It has a longer cooldown compared to Nano Blades, but the skill allows you to phase out, which is perfect for dodging attacks while dealing damage. It feels more fluid to play, and it does more damage. Nano Blades is way too passive, but it does allow you to deal damage from afar, and you can leave that to Vekta.

Bladeform and Power Blade are both great. Power Blade has the potential to deal massive damage on a critical hit while Bladeform does more consistent damage overall.

Ekku

Upslam and Ground Shatter roughly have the same use: to stun enemies to line up for a combo. Upslam launches the enemies up, which can trigger some Routines if you go for a build that has some airborne bonuses. Ground Shatter is a ground stun, so you don’t have to think about it.

I’d recommend Upslam and getting used to doing airborne combos, such as Ekko launching enemies and then switching midair to Flux to do a combo, and ending with Ekko’s normal ground slam attack while airborne to smash the enemies.

Echo Strike is way more efficient than Echo Implant just because of the wide radius of the swings and how you can easily throw this skill and focus on other combos or characters. It a great way to clear weaker enemies.

Seismic Rift does more damage, but is only great if you mainly use Ekku in a run. It is hard to get his special skill up, and its cost is insanely high. Sonic Slash offers more flexibility for Ekku, especially when you focus on using other characters during combat.
