Moon Puzzle Box Solution

In the Chairman’s Office on the 2nd floor of the West Wing area, you’ll find a Moon Puzzle Box inside. There’s a journal/notebook with a torn page. Go to the office at the back, eliminate the zombie, and take the Pencil on the desk.

Go back to the journal in the other room and use the pencil to shade the whole page, revealing Moon, Sun, Star, Moon.

Use the sequence on the puzzle box to open it up.

Sun Puzzle Box Solution

The Sun Puzzle Box has a padlock, which you need to destroy using the Corrosive in the admin room. After destroying the padlock and the cutscene with Victor, you are free to use it, assuming you know the code.

The clues to the codes are littered around the same room. They are inside different photos from the research team. Or… you can just use this sequence instead of looking through those photos and files – Star, Sun, Moon, Sun.

Star Puzzle Box Guide

The last Star Puzzle Box is in the East Wing Isolation Ward, inside the office. However, you don’t need the combination for this, even if it is just there in your face.

You must go back to Emily and carry her to the Isolation Ward. You can’t shoot or fight back when holding Emily, so you have to clear the area leading up to the office in the Isolation Ward.

After bringing Emily, you’ll enter a cutscene. You’ll have to defend and survive until Emily solves the puzzle. This triggers another cutscene, bringing you to the underground area of the care center, which is another long part before you can get the last Quartz piece to exit the care center.
