Complete Resident Evil Requiem Endings Walkthrough

When you help Leon enter Elpis as Grace, you enter a cutscene where Grace pleads to Zeno to save Leon in exchange to give the password and release Elpis. Zeno doesn’t need to abide up until Grace pulls a gun to her head. Eventually, you are given a choice on what password to enter on the prompt: Destroy Elpis or Release Elpis.
The decision ultimately leads to two significantly different endings. We’ll start with “Destroy Elpis,” as that’s what Leon ultimately wanted you to do.
Destroy Elpis Ending

When you choose the Destroy Elpis password, a cutscene immediately triggers. Zeno becomes enraged but still needs Grace, as her blood still holds the key to the future.
Leon pushes Grace away from the collapsing platform, but couldn’t escape with her. He uses the last of his energy to delay Zeno, with Leon ultimately dying to Zeno with a shot to the head, but muttering “At least I can save you” to Grace as his dying words.

The cutscene continues and Grace escapes up the elevator with a rescue team arriving. The game ends here. However, after the end credits, you’ll unlock a bunch of new content and some CP for unlockables earned through finished challenges from your playthrough.

After all these prompts, the game asks you if you want to alter your choice at the end. You’ll return to the point just before Grace select the password for Elpis. You won’t lose any of your bonuses from completing the game, in fact, you even get more. Select “Yes” to go through the other ending.
Release Elpis Ending

Releasing Elpis enters the word “Hope” instead of “Destruction,” which should start to make sense slowly. The cutscene starts with Elpis working and Leon a little shocked at your decision. There’s also a glance of another person on the side that obviously looks like Victor, the lead researcher from the start of the game. Grace tries to explain why she choose to release Elpis, but Zeno immediately pushes her aside to get Elpis.
Zeno injects Elpis into himself, and Grace immediately explains what Elpis actually is. She explains that Elpis is Spencer’s atonement, which is a cure for what he unleashed upon the world… a requiem. Elpis is an anti-viral that is used as a cure for the virus.

With Zeno’s powers gone, Victor makes his entrance. Zeno and Victor argue. Victor shows his card, which is a strain of the Nemesis virus, a subtle hint from the computer monitor in the lab before (the infections being sold by Umbrella).
Victor kills Zeno and hits Grace. Grace gets Elpis and injects Leon to cure him. Victor still destroys Elpis, crashing the platform down.
Victor Final Boss Fight
A fight ensues between Leon and Victor. This part has two phases. Save your handgun ammo and a few shotgun or machine gun rounds for the second phase.

For the first phase, Victor is on his half-mutated body, agile and strong. He likes to jump up the platform and charge up. Use this chance to get as many shots in as you can. Use all your remaining Requiem and rifle shots, as those are the most powerful weapons for single-shot bursts.
Circle around and try to grab some of the supplies around while trying to avoid his shots. Eventually, you’ll trigger a cutscene, and Victor mutates completely, which is similar to RE3R with Jill fighting the Nemesis strain as well.

Shoot the blobs at the center. These spots are much tougher than the ones by the arms, so focus on them. Use the handgun ammo for the smaller blobs on its arms since it only takes one hit from a fully-upgraded pistol on standard difficulty.

Once all the blobs are gone, the boss gets staggered, and a lot of cysts show up underneath. You can use a shotgun to blast through them quicker or even a hand grenade. If you don’t have that many resources left, it also only takes one handgun shot per blob.

After destroying all the blobs, the boss resets, and you’ll have to do it all again. At the 2nd time, the boss grabs you at the end and triggers a quick-time event. This continues as a cutscene and the “true” and “good” ending, mainly because it shows a more complete endgame credit scene after the ending.

Leon saves Grace and vice versa. The BSAA squad enters and talks to Leon. The officer tells Leon he has a message from Captain Redfield. The ending continues showing Leon is okay and him telling Sherry he has a cure with her name on it, and talks about Chris.

Leon talks with Grace and hints at Emily could still be alive. The ending shifts to news coverages of what happened and how a young girl was found in the Rhodes Hill Care Center, showing Emily. The game cuts to a different end credits rolling.

At the end of the credits, there’s a scene with Grace back at the FBI agency talking to Leon about Emily and how she’s taking care of her.
The ending doesn’t stop here, as the scene cuts to a squad neutralizing BSAA agents and also hinting that they are retrieving an “objective,” which could mean a few things at this point. The objective could be Elpis or even Zeno. The ending completely ends here, and you’ll get a summary report of your whole playthrough.
