The Raccoon City Orphanage part is one of the scariest parts in Resident Evil Requiem. It is only a flashback during Leon’s encounter with Grace and Zeno, connecting the story together.

Complete Raccoon City Orphanage Walkthrough – Resident Evil Requiem

When the cutscenes turn to the orphanage, you start playing as the kid waking up in your bedroom. You hear noises and move your way to the next room to check things out. This triggers a creepy and disturbing cutscene. Run back to your room as the kids chase you.

Hide under your bed and wait patiently. The kids will start smacking each bed in the room until they reach yours. They’ll have way too much fun smacking your bed, but eventually hear a noise outside. They’ll leave and just go outside. You can check on the next room, but you can also just go straight to the hallway and down the stairs. There’s a locked room on the first floor, so there’s nothing much to do here.

However, pay attention to one of the tables on the side since you can hide here. Go up to the staircase again, and you’ll start hearing noises again. Run down and hide under the table on the first floor. Wait for the kids to reach the first floor. One kid will open the locked door while the other one goes up again.

When they are gone, crawl out and run straight to the room on the first floor. The hallway has two kids waiting at the end, but they’re facing the other way, so don’t run too fast. Go to the second floor again, but you’ll hear the doorknob turning when you reach the door. Go back again to the first floor and pass the door.

Work your way through the Director’s Room and turn on the lamp on the desk. Interact with the dresser drawer. Climb up and get the Hatch Key on top. You’ll fall, but you won’t alert the kids yet. Go straight and wait until you hear a bottle cracking. Run back and hide in the corner to the right of the dresser, behind the boxes. One kid will slowly come to you, but not past the boxes, so just keep hiding.

When they are gone, run straight to the end and turn left. Use the Hatch Key and work your way down underground. Keep going, and you’ll eventually see a toy truck move forward. Don’t sweat it. Keep going forward until you reach the chapel.

Run to the end and go to the back of the lectern or podium. The wall behind you suddenly opens up, revealing an escape path, but you can’t reach the ladder. Pull the lever on the side. The door on the left side of the chapel opens.

Run to it and start pulling the coffins near the gate. Climb up through each coffin to reach the gate. Vault over and drop to the couch. Grab the Fire Poker and open the door from the inside. A creepy cutscene triggers. Run to the ladder, and it should just trigger a cutscene of you escaping up.

Run through the lab and read the documents on the table. There’s only one path forward, and enter the meeting room. Interact with the remote next to the projector and go through the slides. This will trigger a cutscene, ending this chapter and going back to Leon in the RPD.
