Complete Care Center Walkthrough for Leon – Resident Evil Requiem

Leon’s playthrough starts in the attic. There’s only one way to go since Victor slammed the stairs shut. Go through the only pathway and break the box to get some handgun ammo. When you reach the end, there’s a note on a desk (there’s also a green herb here) which contains information about the subject, Thomas K. Jackson, who experienced increased appetite and weight gain. You’ll eventually fight this subject once you cross through the barricade next to the desk.
Attic Boss Fight

The massive zombie is at the end of the attic, which is designed like a “Z-pattern” maze. This is also the same ogre-like zombie chasing Grace when she grabbed the ID Wristband Level 1 from the East Wing.
Grab everything leading up to the zombie at the end. You won’t be able to get to the Shotgun Shells icon in the corner of the attic until late, so ignore that. You can only get the handgun ammo on top of the boxes for now.

Once you reach the end, there’s an MSBG 500 (shotgun) on the floor next to the boss. Grab the shotgun to trigger the fight. Run back to the first doorway and hold that position. Shoot it with your pistol as it comes closer. Once it gets to the door, it’ll try to force its way in, cracking the door frame little by little at a time. When it tries to grab you and destroy the door frame, swap to the shotgun so you can make sure every single pellet counts.
It will get knocked down after one or two shotgun blasts, depending on how many pistol rounds you unloaded. When it gets knocked down, run to it and use your hatchet for an “execute.” Keep repeating the process until he eventually breaks through the door. When it breaks through, some of the walls get damaged, letting you pick up some shotgun ammo on the sides.
Pick one up from this corner and run back to the opposite side. Shoot at it again and swap to your shotgun when it gets close. Repeat the process until he is down. If he reaches the entrance of the attic, you can get some more shotgun shells, assuming he breaks the walls here. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter as much since Leon is pretty much locked & loaded.

After beating the boss, it drops two hand grenades and the recipe to craft them. Roam around the attic until you get all the available ammo (there’s a lot, including a Med Injector). Go to the end and open the door. There’s a locked closet here, which Leon can use his hatchet to open. It includes a note to the basement safe code 60R, 40L, and 80R(next chapter with Grace) and a Compensator attachment.
Make your way down to the Care Center’s 2nd floor using the ladder. From here, everything should be familiar, as you went through everything with Grace. Your goal is to chase Victor, but first things first, you want to grab all the Locked Cabinets that only Leon can open.
All Locked Closets Locations

After leaving the attic, you’ll be in the Chairman’s Office. Exit the Chairman’s Office and turn left to find a locked closet. It contains shotgun shells and a note saying the Pantry Key is with the chef (the massive zombie with a cleaver).
The next closet is on the same floor, but in the Records Room, so go through the Bar & Lounge to the Kitchenette and Office. When going through the hallways, zombies might mutate depending on where you killed them as Grace. It isn’t that difficult with Leon though, since you can just shoot them with a shotgun or even a handgun until they fall. Once down, Leon can brutally decapitate them with his Hatchet.

The closet in the Records Room has a Mixed Herb (G + G), handgun ammo, and a Mr. Raccoon you can shoot.

Head down to the first floor and find the chef patrolling the hallways near the Filing Room. Hit the chef with two shotgun rounds, and it should die (standard difficulty). Grab the Pantry Key from his body. Since you are near the Filing Room, open the closet here for some handgun ammo and a Med Injector.

Run to the Kitchen and open the Pantry. The pantry has a closet that contains a Connoisseur Charm, a weapon attachment that increases its firepower. There are shotgun shells inside the box, Scrap by the shelves, and 12.7x55mm ammo inside the case.
Victor’s Office

To progress, go back to the staircase near the cold storage room. Run up to the third floor, and a zombie with an explosive barrel should surprise you. Shoot the barrel with your handgun as fast as possible. Continue through to Victor’s Office. You’ll find several dead zombies on your way. Some will mutate, and you’ll have to deal with them. Don’t be afraid to use your shotgun for these enemies. There should be three total.

After dealing with all of them, loot the room. There’s some shotgun ammo when you break the vases, and by the desk with the flowers. Go to the Meeting Room and to Victor’s main office. Grab the hand grenade and Med Injector on the desk. Smash the zombie sitting on the floor with your hatchet, since it’s alive.
Interact with the painting by the desk and pull the lever. Zombies will begin to mutate as the secret door opens. Deal with the mutated zombies and wait until the door is fully open. Enter the elevator that leads to Victor’s private office. This triggers a cutscene and ends Leon’s playthrough.
Now it’s time to take on the Underground area of the Rhodes Hill Care Center.
