Wrenwood Hotel Complete Walkthrough – Resident Evil Requiem

Go through the sidewalk and interact with whatever you come across. However, you can move forward until the deadend and turn left. You’ll enter a cutscene with a cop, and you’ll be led to the entrance of the Wrenwood Hotel. The main entrance is locked, so use the back entrance, going through the scaffolding and crouching your way forward.

Go inside the Wrenwood Hotel, even if it is pitch black in there. The game will teach you how to turn on the flashlight so you can move forward. Keep going straight until you hit the kitchen. You can interact with everything you see in this area, but there’s nothing of great importance.
Head to the next door for a short cutscene. Get the investigation report and open the file. You’ll get a brief overview of what happened at the hotel. Keep going through the investigation scene in the bar. There’s a picture by the bar counter of… you. Interact with it and rotate the photo. There’s a key behind it. Take it.
There’s another short cutscene here. You can go straight to the room or investigate the bathroom or the bar even more, again, nothing of importance here, apart from a few scares, of course.
Go to the room near the bar counter and use the key from the photo. Head through the hallway until you reach the lobby. There’s a Hotel Pamphlet file on the floor that you can read. Go to the office on the first floor and open the desk drawer for the Notice of Closure file. After the office, head upstairs. There are a lot of random sounds throughout, but keep pushing through the second floor. You’ll see a locked stairwell door (emergency exit), which will be important later on.

Look for the toolbox on top of the billiard table and get the Wire Cutters. Use the Wire Cutters to open the next door at the end of the Rec Room.
Head straight through the hallway until you reach room 204. You’ll see a bunch of photos of you, Grace Ashcroft, on the bed. Interact with the bed and look around. You’ll find an interactable photo. This will trigger a cutscene eight years ago about Grace and her mom.

The cutscene also has some playable parts, but only small parts where you have to keep following your mom until the end of the flashback scene.
You’ll return to the room, and now you have to find out what your mom, Alyssa, hid behind the painting. This is way back in the hotel lobby, so you’ll have to go back. Room 204 and the bathroom don’t have much for you to find, anyway.
Interact with the painting in the lobby, and you’ll find a leather pouch with a diary inside. Interact with the pouch and the diary and read the contents. Interact with the pouch again, and you’ll find an important disc. This will trigger a cutscene immediately after closing.

The cop followed you but was suddenly infected. Try your best to follow the prompts to keep the infected cop off of you. You’ll eventually get the emergency key through the cutscene, and it ends where you need to run away from the infected cop. Run up the stairs and interact with the emergency exit as mentioned before.
This triggers another cutscene, and eventually, you’ll go up and meet a disturbing figure as the final scene of the chapter. You’ll have a short sequence with Leon now, before going on to Grace at the Ashcroft Care Center.
