How to Get Grand Garden Gator Achievement in Marvel Rivals

A tiny friend is waiting to meet you.

Every map you battle on in Marvel Rivals is packed with fun secrets and Easter eggs you might overlook since you’re generally focused on fighting. Interacting with these secrets is often crucial for completing achievements, though, as is the case with Grand Garden Gator.

This map-specific task asks you to track down a small character hidden in a vast area. It can be pretty tough to get done, so here’s how to complete the Grand Garden Gator achievement in Marvel Rivals.

To get the Grand Garden Gator achievement, you need to find Alligator Loki and emote in front of him. He’s a pretty tiny guy, and the Grand Garden map is massive, making this a rather tricky task to get done.

Where is Alligator Loki in Marvel Rivals?

Alligator Loki can be found in a secret underground area located right underneath the middle of the Grand Garden map. He’s napping next to a spilled glass of liquid in the middle of a chamber hidden in this area. He’s fairly small, but is bright green with a golden crown, which makes him a bit easier to spot once you know where to look.

To complete the use one emote in front of Alligator Loki in Grand Garden task, you need to find Alligator Loki, stand close to him, and perform one emote of your choosing. It can be a bit of a tricky task to get done, so here’s a full breakdown of all the steps to complete it.

  • Select the Grand Garden map. Alligator Loki can only be found hanging around one spot on this map. This location is exclusive to the 18 VS. 18 Annihilation mode, so you’ll need to select it to proceed. While most achievements can only be completed in Quick Match or Competitive, this one can be done in both Quick Match and Practice VS. AI, so you can select whichever option you like. I generally recommend Practice VS. AI here so you can focus solely on the task at hand.
  • Head to the middle of the map. Look for the massive tower in the center of the map, which is the one surrounded by waterfalls on all sides. It’s also directly in front of the massive chessboard you can play on to get the Lost in The Game achievement.
  • Look for the opening in the ground and jump down. Right in between the massive chessboard that the Grandmaster is looking over and the waterfall tower, there’s an opening in the ground. Jump down it to access an underground area.

  • Find Alligator Loki. Once you’re in the underground chamber, walk down the hallway until you spot a painting on the wall. Look down nearby this artwork to find Alligator Loki napping peacefully.
  • Perform an emote by Alligator Loki. Now that you’re in the right spot, it’s time to emote. Select any emote from your emote wheel while standing near Alligator Loki to finish this achievement.
  • Finish the full round. If you quit early, the achievement likely won’t count, so be sure to play the entire round if you want to get it done.

Emote-related achievements can sometimes be a bit finicky, so I recommend performing at least two emotes in different spots close to Alligator Loki to ensure you get it done. Any emote you have works for this task, though, so feel free to use whichever one you like.

If you need more achievement points to unlock whichever reward you’re after, there are plenty of other tricky ones worth working through next. Some good ones to move on to after this one are The DefendersPrank of Monkey King, and Blueprints Supreme.
