How to Find Ivy

One of the best places to look for Ivy is in the Ancient Forest, the first area that you explore in Monster Hunter: World. This area of the game is filled with tons of plants and items to find and finding Ivy won’t be an easy job as there are only a total of three plants that we’ve been able to locate and gather.

These three Ivy nodes can be found spawned into Area 13 and Area 15 of the Ancient Forest. The area that you need to look for can be found in the middle section of your map, though you may need to change levels some to spot it.

Keep in mind that you can only carry up to 10 Ivy at a time and grabbing all three of the nodes in the Ancient Forest will reward you with a total of six Ivy at one time. We’d suggest going ahead and making use of the item to craft the news that you need or go ahead and head back to camp and place them in your item box. You could also go ahead and gather up some Spiderwebs, which you can use to make the Pitfall Traps that we mentioned earlier in our article.

Ivy isn’t the only useful item that you’ll find scattered around the game world in Monster Hunter: World, so be sure to check out our guides on how to get Warped Bone, as well as our guide on how to find Coral Crystal and how to fish. We also have a ton of other guides in our Monster Hunter: World guide, so make sure you head back over there for more helpful and useful information to assist you on the hunt.
