Risk of Rain 2 Alloyed Collective has a traditional final boss, but also a secret true final boss, which you can face right after beating the Solus Wing. Since this is a secret, getting to it has a few key steps to follow, but here is how you can reach it.
Reach the True Final Boss in Alloyed Collective – Solus Heart
After reaching and defeating the regular final boss of Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective, Solus Wing, you need to take the portal through his eye to the Hidden Realm: Computational Exchange, where you can make an offering to a large Solus Unit.
However, it will reject anything you offer by default. Instead, explore this area and locate Chef behind this translucent, glitchy wall.
You need to give him the Encrypted Cerebellum and Sentry Key / Encrusted key /Rusted key / Empathy Cores / Orphaned Core / Prison Matrix (Either of these will work). He will combine those and give you the Exposed Cerebellum.
Take that to the large Solus unit and offer it. This will open a new Encrypted Portal, which you need to enter.
This portal will take you to the Hidden Realm: Neural Sanctum, where you will take on the Solus Heart boss, which is the true final boss of the Alloyed Collective expansion.
Here’s a summary of the steps required to reach the Solus Heart:
- First, reach Stage 3 and activate the Node so that the Encrypted Portal shows after beating the teleporter boss.
- You’ll then reach the Conduit Canyon. Here, you’ll first need to hack the barrier using three Sentry Keys by entering them in the Sentry Terminals. Then you need to decrypt the encrypted teleporter using three more Sentry keys.
- After that, you’ll fight the Solus Control Unit and the Alloy Hunter.
- Defeating them both will allow you to travel to the Soutional Haunt, where you’ll take on the Solus Wing.
- Make sure to pick up the Encrypted Cerebellum dropped by it.
- After beating the Solus Wing, take the portal through its eye to reach the Hidden Realm: Computational Exchange.
- Here, combine Encrypted Cerebellum with Sentry Key / Encrusted key /Rusted key / Empathy Cores / Orphaned Core / Prison Matrix at Chef to gain the Exposed Cerebellum.
- Offer that to the large Solus unit, and you’ll be taken to the Solus Heart boss fight.
This will lead to one of the toughest fights in the game, and the stage is a sight to behold.
