How To Complete the Lost in Transit Challenge in Risk of Rain 2 Alloyed Collective
Not that easy, huh.
Like the previous expansions, Alloyed Collective introduces a bunch of new challenges to take on. As always, these are somewhat vague and can take some time to figure out. If you’re struggling with the “Lost in Transit” challenge, here is what it means and how you can complete it.
Complete the Lost in Transit Challenge in Risk of Rain 2 Alloyed Collective
To complete the Lost in Transit challenge, you need to unlock the Drifter survivor in Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective.
Here is the description of the challenge itself:
Free the Surivor from the vault in Solutional Haunt.
The Survivor it’s referring to is one of the new survivors, Drifter, and they’re trapped in a vault in the Solutional Haunt, which is the stage where you take on the vicious Solus Wing. You can check out my detailed guide on how to unlock this Drifter survivor here.
Here are the short steps on how to unlock her in the new expansion:
- In the third stage, activate the Node and travel to the Conduit Canyon by taking the Encrypted Portal after defeating the teleporter boss.
- Here, collect three Sentry keys by defeating the elite enemies with blue shields to bring down the barrier after inserting those in the sentries.
- After that, use three more sentry keys to reprogram the encrypted teleporter.
- Activate the encrypted teleporter and take on the Solus Control Unit and the Alloy Hunter.
- Enter the teleporter and you’ll be taken to the Solutational Haunt.
- Here, you’ll have to take on the Solus Wing, which is the final boss (but not the true final boss) of the Alloyed Collective.
- After beating it, explore the Solutional Haunt area and locate dead alloyed units. Grab the Prison Matrix from both and use that to unlock the vault. You need two of these.
This will unlock the Drifter, and you’ll also complete the “Lost in Transit” challenge associated with it. It’s not that difficult once you’re comfortable with taking out the final boss.
