The Best Ways to Get Blueprints in ARC Raiders

Updated as of December 2025.

There are several ways to get blueprints in the game. Some of them drop from specific types of containers, while others are rewards from quests, events, player level rewards, trials, and many more. The type of blueprint that drops is almost always random.

Blueprints like the Equalizer and Jupiter drop from the Harvester at a very high chance, while an Anvil or Bettina blueprint may drop from random containers. In short, there’s a certain loot pool of blueprints that are completely random, while some are found in exclusive things like the Harvester event.

In general, you want to loot “high-value” areas, weapon cases, ammo boxes, raider caches, containers (tubes), backpack containers, and more rare containers that may have a higher tier loot than other loot containers for the best chance at getting blueprints. It is also worth noting that ARC Surveyors also drop blueprints. Events like the Hidden Bunker also help you get more blueprints, along with locked rooms that need keys.

While all of these may seem overwhelming because they seem to drop from almost everywhere, you want to focus on these loot containers and strategies to find blueprints:

MethodBest Spots
Looting Locked RoomsAny epic-level key, but any locked room will do.
Security Breach Lockers (36 pts in Survival)Santa Maria Houses and The Red Tower (Buried City)
Weapon Cases and Ammo boxesFlooded Gates room (with one security breach) or apartments north of the Grandioso Apartments. Many spots for this anyway.
ARC Surveyor farmingDam Battlegrounds.
Blue and Red LockersDeparture Building in Spaceport (1st floor) or Hospital in Buried City
Looting Containers in high-value areas (marked on map)Space Travel, Research and Administration, or any marked areas in red.

There could be hundreds more methods out there, but you want to combine a few of these strategies to increase your chances of obtaining blueprints. If you do these strategies in Night Raids, you’ll also get more chances at more blueprints, including rarer ones, which should make this the best strategy to get as many blueprints as possible.

With security breaches heavily nerfed, finding blueprints is much harder but still possible. However, that switches the best strategy to finding good loot spots that have a mix of weapon cases and boxes, security breaches, and lockers. An example of a good blueprint farming spot that has these mixes would be the small room on the first floor of the Departure building in Spaceport, rooms near the activatable bridges in Dam Battlegrounds, or even just a place with several containers.

Looting spots with several normal lockers is highly underrated. Think of the small room area in the Hospital of Buried City. You’ll find eight or more lockers in just one small room, and they are extremely fast to search. Looting in quantity should help you find more blueprints. If you get some extra keys, you can also go for locked rooms, but this isn’t doable every raid since you can’t get keys all the time.
