How to Finish the Groundbreaking Quest in ARC Raiders

The Groundbreaking quest is very risky to complete in ARC Raiders. It requires a key for a locked room, which will be given to you when you accept the quest.
If you don’t finish the objective inside the locked room, you’ll have to find the key again, making it crucial that you are prepared for the quest. Here’s a complete quest walkthrough for the Groundbreaking quest in ARC Raiders.
Complete Groundbreaking Quest Walkthrough in ARC Raiders
To finish the Groundbreaking quest, you must complete the following objectives:
- Enter the locked room at Pilgrim’s Peak.
- Search the room for any construction research.
- Find the building pictured on the whiteboard.
- Photograph the abandoned housing project.
Before going into a Blue Gate raid, get the Blue Gate Communication Tower Key, which will be given to you once you accept the Groundbreaking quest from Apollo. This is after finishing the Deciphering the Data quest.
Place the Blue Gate Communication Tower Key in your safe pockets to make sure you don’t lose it before you finish the objectives. Also, I highly suggest bringing a Raider Hatch Key so you can have an easy extract at the last part of the objective, assuming the Raider Hatches are available in the raid.
Once you load into a Blue Gate raid, head straight to Pilgrim’s Peak.
Use the staircase to go inside the main building from the side. Head straight and turn right to the long hallway. Follow the hallway, and the locked room will be on your right.
Open the room and look for the whiteboard at the corner. Inspect it to finish the objective. You might as well loot the room since locked rooms have great loot inside, which is also a good way to get blueprints.
There’s a weapon box, several drawers, breachable servers near the door, and lots of loose loot on the tables. After looting everything inside, you must head to the Abandoned Housing Project just south of Pilgrim’s Peak (closer to the edge of the map).
Building on the whiteboard and photo location
The exact building you want to take a picture of will be the third farthest building when you are coming from Pilgrim’s Peak. Use the map above for reference.
Go to one of the boulders overlooking the third building, and you’ll see a “take a photo” icon show up. Take the photo, and that should finish the Groundbreaking quest.
Since you probably have some decent loot, use the Raider Hatch Key on the Prefab Hatch next to the Abandoned Housing Project to get out safely and quickly.
