The attention to detail in ARC Raiders extends beyond its visuals and environments, as some of the harvesting and looting elements feel well-thought-out and naturally implemented. Apricots, lemons, and olives grow on different trees, but there’s more to discover, and you’ll eventually need to find Prickly Pears.
Here is the best way to safely gather Prickly Pears early on in ARC Raiders without running into much trouble.
Best Prickly Pears Location in ARC Raiders
Prickly Pears can be found as drops near cacti scattered across the various maps in ARC Raiders. For the best chance of finding them, explore areas with plenty of cacti. The ideal spot is between Ruby Residence and West Broken Bridge on the Dam Battlegrounds map. You can find cacti in the area around this as well.

Compared to other fruits, Prickly Pears are rare and not guaranteed to appear near every cactus plant, but they’re hard to miss if you’re actively looking for them, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t find one right away. There are a lot of cacti in the marked location and you’re bound to find a few.

If you’re lucky, you’ll find more than one near a bunch of Cacti:

If you just want to collect Prickly Pears during a run, I recommend sticking to this area and respawning if you aren’t close to the northern side of Dam Battlegrounds. Avoid getting into fights, and make sure you’ve equipped an augment with a Safe Pocket so that even if you’re killed by a player or an ARC, your Prickly Pears remain safe. If you have more than enough, you can also sell them for some decent cash.
