Where To Find Vikhana’s Tools in Absolum

Vikhana the Joyful is a friendly NPC in Absolum who can buff your Rituals in exchange for Imbued Fruit. After you upgrade a few Rituals, she’ll ask you to recover her special tools, which allow her to assist you even further.
Finding these tools during your runs can be a bit confusing, as the path leading to them is hidden. Here’s how to find Vikhana’s tools in Absolum and what she does with them.
Find Vikhana’s Tools in Absolum
Vikhana will give you a general direction of the tools in Jaroba, and the quest will be marked on your map.
- To access this location and the tools, first make your way to the third node, where you’ll find the resting heartroot spot. Instead of going the usual way on the upper side, stick to the lower-right side of the screen to reveal a hidden path blocked by vines.
- Attack these to carve a path, and you’ll enter The Green Maze.
- This area contains The Beast, Fallen Guardian boss fight at the fifth node, as usual.
- After beating The Beast, you’ll reach The Hidden Sanctuary.
- Here, you will find Vikhana’s tools in a chest. You can’t miss it.
- Grab these, and when you start a new run, talk to Vikhana at the main Sanctuary to give her those tools. She’ll promise to put them to good use.
What Happens When You Give Vikhana the Tools?
After you’ve given Vikhana her tools, there is a chance she’ll appear during your run in one of the non-boss rooms to upgrade a random ritual you’ve currently acquired.
In the example above, Vikhana upgraded my Repelling Power ritual to level 2, increasing its attributes quite a bit.
There is no way to force her to show up, and it’s pretty random from what I can tell. It’s possible that she doesn’t show up at all during a run, but it’s still absolutely worth it to give her the tools so that you can get these rare but useful upgrades.
