The highly anticipated expansion for Risk of Rain 2, Alloyed Collective, features two new survivors, six stages, and plenty of new items — and it finally has a release date. We won’t have to wait long to get our hands on it, either.
Risk of Rain 2 Alloyed Collective Release Date
Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective is coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PS4, and PS5 on November 18, 2025.
Gearbox confirmed this with a brand-new trailer showcasing Drifter, one of the survivors from the original Risk of Rain, making his way into the 3D world of Risk of Rain 2.
The Nintendo Switch version of the expansion will not be released on the same date as the other consoles, but the developers have confirmed that they are actively working on it to ensure it’s properly optimized.
Risk of Rain 2 Alloyed Collective Pricing and Content Details
Risk of Rain 2 Alloyed Collective is priced at $15, similar to the previous DLCs, and includes the following new content:
- Six new stages:
- Pretender’s Precipice
- Iron Alluvium
- Repurposed Crater
- Conduit Canyon
- Two new survivors: Drifter and Operator
- Seven new Drone types: You can also modify drones at a new dedicated station.
- Seven new enemy types
- New Bosses: New Teleporter encounter and a new final boss.

This is just what they’ve revealed officially. It’s obvious that there are plenty of secrets to find, just like it was the case for the last two DLCs.

If you prefer the written version, you can check it out on Steam. If you’re interested in picking up Risk of Rain 2, it’s currently 67% off on Steam till October 20, 2025, and the previous DLC bundle is 47% off instead.
After Gearbox took over development, Risk of Rain 2 had a bit of a rough patch, but the developers have been very active and have addressed most issues introduced by the last patch. The game is in a great place yet again, and the new DLC is very promising. Both survivors look radically different from existing ones, and I can’t wait to spend hours learning both.
