Mortal Kombat 1 continues to receive support from NetherRealm Studios, particularly in the form of cosmetics. If you don’t want to spend in-game currency or real money on skins, NRS has partnered with Twitch for a few drops.
Here’s how you can claim the Twitch drops for Mortal Kombat 1 and unlock some neat character skins.

Currently, the MK1: Final Kombat campaign for Siege X is live on Twitch and has the following rewards and requirements:
| Item | Item Image | Total watched minutes required |
|---|---|---|
| Tanya Palette Reward | ![]() | 30 Minutes |
| Sub-Zero Palette Reward | ![]() | 60 Minutes (1 Hour) |

Both of these skins are basically Twitch-themed and looked pretty good.
Mortal Kombat 1 Twitch Drops Schedule
The current Mortal Kombat 1 Twitch Drop campaign is available from September 26, 2025, to October 3, 2025.
How to Claim Twitch Drops for Mortal Kombat 1
You need to connect your WB Games account with Twitch to become eligible for these rewards and the campaign itself.
- Head over to the following link to log in to your WB account.
- Next, connect your WB Games and Twitch accounts with this link.
- Once you’ve linked your WB Games and Twitch accounts, head over to any Mortal Kombat 1 stream with drops enabled and watch the Stream (or put it on in the background) for the specified time, a total of 60 minutes for this campaign if you want everything.
- You can keep track of the drop progress in your Twitch inventory. If the progress bar doesn’t update automatically, refresh the page.
- Once you have watched the specified time, you’ll see the Claim Now button on the same page over the items one by one.
- After you claim the items in Twitch, they will show up in your inventory when you launch Mortal Kombat 1.
Make sure to claim these rewards within two weeks after the campaign ends. These drops are available for PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PS5, but not the Nintendo Switch.
With actual content support having wrapped up for Mortal Kombat 1, I hope that NRS at least continues to support the game this way, offering new content to players through Twitch at least.
