Destiny 2 has been available on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for over a month now, and soon PC players will get to cut their teeth on Bungie’s latest shoot and loot game, Destiny 2. Set to release on October 24, preloading for the game has now become available, meaning players around the world can already download and install the title, making it much easier to dive into on launch day. So, if you want to get ready for the game’s release, here’s how you can preload Destiny 2 and install the game right now.
Preload Destiny 2 on PC
Destiny 2 is coming on October 24, and players can start preloading it right now. To preload the game you’ll need to do so through Blizzard’s Battle.net desktop application. Once the app is downloaded, and you’re created an account and bought the game, you can click through a list of games available to purchase or install in the left-hand side of the application.
You’ll want to look down this list until you spot Destiny 2 at the bottom, under the Activision header. Players who have already purchased the game will have the option to install it, whereas though who still need to buy it will have the option to purchase it directly from Blizzard, making it easy to pick the game up for yourself.
When you’re ready to download the game, simply click on the install button and start the download. Preloading just became available recently, so we’d expect there to be quite a bit of traffic on the servers at the moment, so it’s definitely going to be a good idea to start the preload now and make sure you have the game downloaded for when it goes live on October 24.
