Crimson Desert System Requirements and Pre-Order Bonus Revealed

It's real.

Pearl Abyss is finally done teasing its highly anticipated open-world action-adventure title, Crimson Desert, which now has a release date set for early next year. It’s now available to pre-order across all major storefronts, and the developers have also shared a few technical details for the PC version.

Here are the system requirements, pre-order bonuses, and details of each edition for Crimson Desert to prepare you ahead of its release.

Crimson Desert System Requirements

MinimumRecommended
OSWindows 10 – 64-BitWindows 10 – 64-Bit
CPURyzen 5 2600X / i5-8500Ryzen 5 5600 / i5-11600K
RAM8 GB16 GB
GPUGTX 1060 / RX 6500 XTRTX 2080 / RX 6700 XT
DirectXVersion 12Version 12
Storage100 GB100 GB

Currently, the requirements aren’t that detailed, and there is no mention of any target resolution or framerate. If we assume these are for 1080p, then the game doesn’t seem that demanding. For higher settings, you’ll need something like an RTX 2080 paired with a Ryzen 5 5600. You need a whopping 100 GB of free space to install Crimson Desert, which is completely believable given the scale of the open world and everything packed into it.

On the lower side, a GTX 1060 is listed, and it can provide some form of playable experience. I hope this is an indication that the game is scalable and runs well across different hardware.

Crimson Desert Pre-Order Bonus

If you pre-order Crimson Desert on PC or Xbox Series S|X, you will receive the Khaled Shield. While pre-ordering it on PS5 will also grant you the Grotevant Plate Set.

The Grotevant Plate Set includes the following items:

  • Grotevant Plate Helm
  • Grotevant Plate Armor
  • Grotevant Cloak
  • Grotevant Plate Gloves
  • Grotevant Plate Boots
