Alan Wake 2 Hits Historical Low on PC and Consoles

Show me the champion of the light!!!!

Remedy Entertainment released one of the best games of the generation in 2023 with Alan Wake 2, a survival horror masterpiece that’s worth your time and attention. If you haven’t played it yet and were waiting for a nice discount, it’s now available at its lowest price across all platforms.

Alan Wake 2 Hits Historical Low

Alan Wake 2 is currently down to just $20 on PC at the Epic Games Store and $24 on both PS5 and Xbox Series S|X. This is the lowest price it has dropped to since its release two years ago, and you really can’t go wrong with it, especially if you’re a fan of Remedy Entertainment or survival-horror games in general.

Unlike the first game, Alan Wake 2 features two leads, Saga Anderson and Alan Wake himself, with the story picking up right after the events of the original. Considering the density of the universe, especially with how everything is tied with Control as well, it’s fair to say that you need to play the first one to make sense of what’s going on in Alan Wake 2.

At the very least, I’d watch a playthrough or a recap if you don’t want to play the first title and its expansions. It’s also a much scarier game in comparison with plenty of jump scares, creepy bosses, and shifting environments to keep you on your toes.

Since its release, Remedy has also released two expansions set in Alan Wake 2, which require the deluxe edition or the deluxe upgrade. That’s currently discounted to just $8 on both PC and Xbox Series S|X. I think it’s worth it because the additional story content is really neat and ties into the larger Remedy universe.

It’s a graphical showcase pushing the Northlight Engine to its extreme, especially on PC with path tracing support and phenomenal presentation throughout. Similarly, it’s a visually spectacular experience on consoles as well, and manages to hold a steady framerate throughout.

The discount is available till the end of the month and expires on July 31, 2025. You can get Alan Wake 2 from the links below:

I don’t think we’ll see a discount for Alan Wake 2 like this for a while, so if you have been waiting for one, this is the time to get it.
