Madden NFL 26 Release Date

Madden NFL 26 is coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, PS5 and the Nintendo Switch 2 on August 14, 2025.

Madden NFL 26 is coming to EA Play Pro for PC players, and if you have the regular EA Play subscription, you’ll be able to enjoy the title for 10 hours to see what it’s all about.

Crossplay is a basic feature that should be available in all modern multiplayer titles, but that’s not always the case. I’m glad to see that EA Sports has committed to adding the feature in all their major sports titles. Now that most of these are available on current-generation consoles, there are no issues with last-generation consoles either.

I am surprised that the Nintendo Switch 2 version doesn’t have crossplay, though, considering how it’s a much more powerful console than the regular Switch and should be able to provide a decent experience in Madden NFL 26.

You can learn more about the crossplay functionality in the dedicated FAQ.
