EA Orlando has revealed Madden NFL 26, the latest entry in the football series, which started back in 1988. Unlike Madden NFL 25, this new entry is only coming to current-generation consoles and PC. Like the last few games, Madden NFL 26 is built on EA’s Frostbite engine.

With this generational jump in mind, what do PC players need to get a decent experience? Here are the complete system requirements for Madden NFL 26.

While this is a new title, the system requirements of Madden NFL 26 are identical to Madden NFL 25. Either this is an error, or the game is practically the same on a technical side, which I wouldn’t find hard to believe considering these come out every year.

On the recommended side, which I assume means 1080p 60 FPS on high settings, you’ll need something like an RTX 3060 with 8 GB of VRAM, paired with a modest Ryzen 7 2700X. You need 65 GB of free space for this one, and 12 GB of RAM is recommended.

On the lower end, an RX 570 with just 4 GB of VRAM should provide some form of experience. Madden NFL 26 doesn’t exactly sound like the most technically impressive game from these requirements, and it’s possible we might see an update down the line.

Madden NFL 26 Release Date

Madden NFL 26 is coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, PS5, and the Nintendo Switch 2 on August 14, 2025.

On PC, Madden NFL 26 is available to pre-order through Steam and the EA App. It’s also part of the EA Play Pro subscription service, specifically for PC.

Overall, depending on what your experience was like with Madden NFL 25, I wager it won’t be too different here since the requirements are identical.
