360 to get Mercenaries 2?

We could see Mercenaries 2 come to the Xbox 360 as well as the PS3, developer Pandemic has stated.

The game was shown off at E3 earlier this year, but currently has no publisher and is being developed for the PS3 currently.

“There is a possibility of it coming to Xbox 360,” a PR person from the studio told IGN on Friday last week.

“Right now, we have PS3 development kits and it’s on PS3, and there is no announcement, but we’re definitely considering Xbox 360.”

The original game, Mercenaries, came out on the PS2 and Xbox.

There’s “still a lot of time”, said the representative, another announcement is quite likely to appear in the next couple of months.

Mercenaries 2 is, like the original, based around mercenaries’ involvement in a war over oil, this time round set in Venezuela.
