Available in both black and white, the highly anticipated Super Mario Edition consoles will retail for $99. The Super Mario black and white edition 3DS systems feature popular characters and imagery from the Mushroom Kingdom. This includes Mario, Luigi, Toad, Lakitu, Boo and Bullet Bill, among others. To be clear, this is not the 3DS XL, and according to Amazon’s 3DS product page, the Super Mario Edition does not come with an AC adapter. You will need to buy one separately to charge the system.
Nintendo will release the $99 black and white 3DS portables nationwide on November 25. Below is a list of retailers who will carry the systems, and we will update this post in the days leading up to launch.
At the moment, we don’t know if the Super Mario Edition 3DS is a Black Friday only deal, or whether Nintendo will continue to sell these systems through the holiday season and beyond. Additionally, we don’t know how many units Nintendo will produce. Quantities could be limited, or you’ll have no trouble finding them. Vague, we know, which is why it is so important that you act fast to make sure you grab one or both of these systems.

Keep in mind that you will pay a markup on eBay, but currently, a few sellers have both the black and white 3DS systems for $55-$60 more, which isn’t the worst deal if you can’t find these consoles in stores.
