Pac-Man 256 has been a huge mobile hit since its debut last year, but now the dot-muncher has a new place to call home – consoles and PC!
Bandai Namco has announced that the game, developed by Crossy Road creator Hipster Whale, will make its way to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on June 21st. It will feature all the action of the original release, as well as a variety of power-ups and upgraded visuals.
Perhaps the biggest feature, however, is the addition of a multiplayer mode. Up to four people will be able to jump in locally, competing to see who can get the highest score possible in Pac-Man 256 without hitting the dreaded “kill switch” glitch that’s consistently eating up the screen. Obviously, every power-up helps.
