Shortly after revealing Star Wars characters and environments for Disney Infinity 3.0, we heard rumblings of Disney releasing a play set based on The Force Awakens, but had no details because of the movie’s secrecy. This morning, we learned The Force Awakens set will launch the same day as the film, December 18.
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens play set will sell for $34.99 and come with locations unique to the movie and two figurines, Finn and Rey. Additionally, Resistance X-Wing fighter pilot Poe Dameron and the mysterious Kylo Ren of the First Order will be sold separately for $13.99 each; The Forced Awakens Power Disc pack will sell for $9.99.
All of the Star Wars figures (Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett, to name a few) are compatible with The Force Awakens play set which is great, but since information about the movie is hush-hush, we don’t know specifics, in particular which scenes the developers pulled or key moments.
We’ll have more on The Force Awakens play set in the weeks ahead, but for now, add these toys to your holiday wish list.
