Forza Motorsport 6 arrived for Xbox One, bringing all the horsepower of a racing champion with a variety of tracks and cars to choose from. In addition, you can race online with friends in either straight-up competitions or leagues, in the hopes of proving yourself the ultimate racing champion.
Today we dig into the huge amount of cars available in the game. There are over 450 rides to choose from, complete with a test drive option in case you want to see how these speed machines handle before hitting the road. We chose a few safe bets sure to get your motor running, no matter which mode you choose.
2017 Ford GT
Announced earlier in the year as the headline car for Forza Motorsport 6, the 2017 Ford GT is a sweet ride, packing 630 horsepower and a whole lot of torque under the hood. This means peak performance around the track, whether you’re racing through the rain or gunning around the Nurburgring for a first place victory. It’ll take a bit of money to unlock (it’s one of the premiere cars available), but you’ll smile the minute you add it to the garage.
Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo
If you’re looking for a car that handles speed with precision and grace, the Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo is ideal. Capable of immense horsepower, this car is perfect for mastering straight-aways and cornering. It also has a daunting appearance, with a sleek paint job and a build that will get maximum efficiency as you push it well beyond the 100 MPH range.
Ultima GTr 720
Although the Ultima looks peculiar compared to your typical sports car (mainly due to its funky cockpit), there’s no question you’ll get plenty of value. It can handle high speeds and is also good at cornering, especially with the right tires equipped. What’s more, it’s built for efficiency, so it can achieve top speed with ease. Better still, it won’t set you back that much, as it only goes for around 120,000 credits – which you’ll earn in a matter of races.
Dodge Viper ACR
Another car that’ll be easy to add to your garage is the Dodge Viper ACR. Built with a beautiful black and red finish and packing all sorts of horsepower, this car is great for competitions against friends or if you just feel like taking a spin around the track. It’s priced fairly around 110,000 credits, and it’s ideal for building up speed and cornering, so you’ll have no trouble getting and keeping the lead. Make sure you add it to your collection when you can.
TVR Sagaris
The TVR Sagaris boasts impressive speed and handling, making it a good all-around vehicle. Better still, you won’t have to break the bank to get it, as it’ll run you a simple 61,000 credits – one of the more affordable cars in the game. It’s good to get started with this before chasing after the expensive rides, so you have a mean machine in your arsenal while earning cash.
Corvette Z06
Finally, we know there are fans out there who love to take a Corvette for a spin, and you simply can’t go wrong with the Z06. This model is well built and packs plenty of horsepower, so you can maintain a top speed with ease and not lose control. What’s more, it’s rather cheap, running around 44,000 credits. For driving aficionados it’s a must, even with bigger and better rides on the market.
