Konami’s end-of-year financial report has given us the hidden gem of information that is the rough release date for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The game is set to come out before April next year.
Konami’s “Outlook for fiscal year ending March 31, 2008” report contains the text “New titles will also continue to be released for game consoles in widespread use, along with the long-awaited Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for PS3.”
MGS4 will land Snake in a warzone, with two opposing armies, whose reactions to Snake will vary depending on who our protagonist has been killing. There are a whole host of new gadgets and moves in the game including a fancy-pants dynamically adapting camo suit that allows Snake to hide in some surprising places.
