Kell’s Fall starts out nice and easy with some mild platforming along the cliffside while the Scorn just watches on. The game has disabled raising your gun for this part, so they are of no threat to you.

The end of the trial is a brief boss fight with Arakses, the Trickster. Make sure other enemies are not getting in your way as you constantly shoot the boss before it leaves after a third of its health bar is gone.

You will then find a giant organ upon entering the tower. This is not necessary for the first time completing the mission, but will be needed for later runs for exclusive loot and Slayer’s Fang upgrades. Instead, take the stairs to the left, follow the hallway, and light the brazier to open the door next to it.

At the end of the short path past the door you’ll see a huge branch and some glowing rocks. Shoot the rocks to create a new path and follow it to a room with a giant mirror with cracks in it. Shoot the giant mirror for it to glow and enter inside it. This will put you in another plane of reality that will be used later in the mission.

Take a right turn and defeat any Scorn and Dread enemies in the narrow hallways. Walk across the throne room and take another hallway to another mirror room. Light the brazier nearby, then shoot the mirror to enter back to normal reality.

Take a left and follow the hallway to another brazier to light. This will open the door opposite the torch. Shoot the glowing rocks on the right side of the big room at the end and follow its path to the Fighting Pit room.

The Fighting Pit encounter requires players to defeat two Pit Enforcers and Kaniks, the Mad Bomber before moving on, but these enemies cannot be damaged without gaining Revenant Empowerment. Enter the mirror in the middle of the room as the fight begins.

You will need to defeat Revenant Essentia enemies in the special reality for them to drop Revenant Essence motes. Getting ten motes within time will give you the Revenant Empowerment status. Enter the mirror to get back to the normal reality.

The Revenant Empowerment status lets you damage two Pit Enforcers and Kaniks, and the Mad Bomber while in the normal reality. There are no specific strategies beyond the status for this fight, so take your time to defeat all enemies in the room before seeing Fikrul The Fanatic, and moving onto the marked path in the corner of the room.

Follow the long hallway, shoot the glowing rocks, and you will come across a vast chasm. Jump to the lit platforms on the left until what looks like the end of the path. However, look down to see a lit cave and the path to the next mirror.

Be sure to light the brazier near the Rally Banner circle, and then the two braziers in the mirror room itself. Break the mirror and enter the special reality. The main room contains the Hiraks, the Mindbender encounter, who will leave after a third of its health bar is gone.

You will then need to light another three braziers to unlock the next path. Take the crystallized hallway on the left side of the encounter room. There may be one brazier in the small alcove before moving on. Take the left at the fork to see a mirror door above a pit.

The second brazier is next to the mirror door, though it could be in either the normal or special reality. The last one is in the normal reality behind some glowing rocks next to the mirror door. The unlocked door will be opposite of the last brazier in the normal reality.

Enter the large room for another Hiraks, the Mindbender encounter, who will leave again after taking out another third of its health bar. Follow the path, take the mirror door, and go to the main room to defeat Hiraks, the Mindbender finally. Fikrul, The Fanatic will show up, so take the doorway to the right of him and enter the mirror door back to normal reality.

Take the beam of light to a spiral staircase and fight Arakses, the Trickster. You’ll find him halfway up the stairs. Follow his movements and keep shooting him until, it should be an easy fight. The last room will be at the top of the staircase.

Fikrul, The Fanatic will appear once more in the final room, but cannot be damaged. He will then charge up an attack while the mirror door activates, so break it and go inside. Become Revenant Empowerment inside the special reality, then return to normal reality. Aim for Reksis Vahn, The Hangman with heavy weapons and supers to defeat Fikrul The Fanatic, and be rewarded with the new Slayer’s Fang exotic shotgun.
