Some days you sit in front of the computer impatiently tapping the refresh button in the hope of learning new information on Nintendo’s upcoming Pokemon games. Then all of a sudden, The Pokemon Company drops a whole bunch of features and your brain explodes.

Today is officially the latter, with a detail-packed trailer for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire for 3DS, both of which release November 21st.

Perhaps the most important and downright shocking feature is Cosplay Pikachu. We published a separate story that goes more in depth, but put simply, Pikachu dresses up like humans now, and dons Pop Star, Rock Star, Ph.D., Belle and Luchador outfits. Ridiculously cute and compatible with Pokémon-Amie if you’re into forming strong bonds with your virtual pets.

Moving on, The Pokemon Company confirmed Mega Metagross, which as it turns out, is the partner Pokémon of Pokémon League Champion Steven; you’ll have to beat that guy to become the Pokémon League Champion. A word of warning: Mega Metagross is over eight feet tall and weighs just under 2,100 pounds. In addition to being a Steel and Psychic type, it possesses an increased Speed stat, so we wish you the best of luck.

Of course, there are more Mega Evolutions, including Mega Diancie. Here’s the big takeaway: its Magic Bounce Ability makes any status condition or stat-lowering effect bounce back at the opposing Pokémon.

Similar to most Pokémon games, you start off meeting a professor, in this case Professor Birch, who runs a lab in Littleroot Town. No official word on the first three starter Pokemon, but their rarity differs between the two games.

Finally, you’ll get a look at some of the Gym Trainers. We even know some of their names and locations, listed as follows: Rustboro City Gym Leader Roxanne, Dewford Town Gym Leader Brawly, Mauville City Gym Leader Wattson and Lavaridge Town Gym Leader Flannery.

Throw in a look at player created bases, and you have over a minute of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire goodness. That’s a happy Monday in our book.
